The Allington Belle is a small family business run by Steve & Bev Henderson. The boat was launched in 2002 and was built at Fords Wharf Marine in Allington, Maidstone, Kent - hence her name Allington Belle. She is the first craft to to be built on the Upper River Medway for a long time. She was built by her Captain Steve Henderson. The Allington Belle is a Mississippi style paddle boat and can hold up to 50 persons for coach parties and daily 1 hour pleasure trips and up to 40 persons for private parties, wedding receptions, corporate functions, birthdays, anniversaries and other special events.

The cruise goes between Allington and East Farleigh locks. The boat can be boarded at the Malta Inn, Sandling or The Town Centre, between the 2 road bridges - we can also stop at the Millennium/Whatman Park on request (see timetable). The vessel is fully licensed by the Maritime and Coast Guard Agency and all other required licenses are in place - allowing a full bar and dancing facility. She is wheelchair friendly, but please count wheelchairs as 2 persons for large groups, to allow plenty of room. Toilets are walk in only, the rest of the boat is fully accessible.

The boat can be hired for Wedding transport to The Arch Bishops Palace, but during July & August places are restricted due to demand and come at a higher price. Please call for details. The vessel can be dressed in your wedding colours to suit and can hold 50 persons for transport or 40 for receptions. For coach parties we can offer 1 or 2 hour trips. This can be arranged any time from Easter till December. We will always try to accommodate Schools, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, Playschools and Clubs of any kind, just call us and ask. One way trips to the Museum of Kent Life are available on request.
